Smith "Smitty" Holts was a locksmith and friend of the Strike Team.
Season 2[]
When T.O. Osmond's safe was recovered from his burned store, Detective Vic Mackey brought Smith to the Barn to open it. However, he instructed him beforehand that he should do it the wrong way, so the contents of the safe were destroyed by the safety mechanism. Vic then introduced Smith to Detective Claudette Wyms and proceeded to work. When he saw the safe, he misidentified it on purpose as the Omni 600 series, but Claudette corrected him saying it was the 700 series. When Smith attempted to open the safe through the front, Claudette stopped him and told him that the manufacturer had told her he had to do it through the back to disarm the destruct mechanism. Smith hesitated and looked at Mackey, but Mackey told him to do it. Smith eventually opened the safe correctly giving the contents to Claudette.
