Matt Gerald (born May 2, 1970; age 54) played Officer Tommy Hisk during Season 3 of The Shield.
Biography and career[]
Matt Gerald was born in Miami, Florida. He started his professional acting career in 1998, appearing in the films Starstruck and Judas Kiss. Through his career, Gerald has appeared in numerous well-known films like Magnolia, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, S.W.A.T., xXx: State of the Union, and Red Dawn. He has also worked with superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on three films: G.I. Joe: Retaliation, San Andreas, and Rampage.
In 2009, Gerald played Corporal Lyle Wainfleet in James Cameron's blockbuster Avatar. He is set to reprise the role on the upcoming sequels, which are currently being filmed. Aside from films, Gerald has also had recurring roles on TV shows like Daredevil, The Oath, and The Unit.
