Corboy was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. After high school, he attended Colorado State University, where he earned a degree in Business.

In 1996, Corboy started acting in commercials, films, and TV series. He has appeared in TV shows like NCIS, Modern Family, CSI: NY, and This Is Us. Corboy has also appeared in films like Knuckle Sandwich, Crimes of the Mind, and The Oath.

Corboy has been married to Kara McNamara since 2001. They have a son, Finn, born in 2006.
