After Raymond was murdered, Detectives Dutch Wagenbach and Claudette Wyms went to Jaelene's salon to ask her a few questions. They knew she had been making threats against Garza for killing Raymond. When they asked her, she told them that Raymond was talking with Calva to convince him to return to the Byz Lats gang. However, Garza felt that was treason and ordered them both murdered. As they were about to leave, Jaelene told Claudette to better find Garza before she did.
