Season 1[]
Hector and his men assaulted a truck that delivered cigarettes and other goods. After he beat up the truck driver, they shot the van's tires and left him on the street. However, he identified the tattoos on Hector's arms. This helped Detective Vic Mackey and the Strike Team track him down.
The Strike Team started staking out the house of Hector's ex-girlfriend, Tigre Orozco, and due to a confusion, they ended up shooting Tigre's brother, Chaco, and planting a gun on him to justify it. Chaco was visiting his sister to protect her from Hector. When Hector found out what happened, he cut an "H" with a knife on Tigre's belly and told her she would always be his.
When Curtis Lemansky saw the scar, he went to Hector's house and beat him up. Lem also burned his face with a cigarette. After Vic and Ronnie intervened, Hector threatened Lem. Some days after, Lem went to Hector's house again and told one of his men to meet so they could settle things. They agreed and went to the meeting point, but Lem never arrived.
After Hector and his men returned to his home, the Strike Team raided the house. As they were arresting them, Lem planted a gun on his house so they could get rid of him.
