Charles Hamilton Eglee (born November 27, 1951; age 73) was a writer and producer of The Shield.
Biography[]
Eglee was born in North Haven, Connecticut. He studied at Williston Academy graduating cum laude. He also received a B.A. in English from Yale College where he stayed as a film history professor.
He later moved to California where he worked for Roger Corman. While working with Corman, Eglee met James Cameron, who was a production designer at the time. Together, they wrote Piranha II: The Spawning. He has worked in other shows like St. Elsewhere, Moonlighting, L.A. Law, NYPD Blue, and Dark Angel, all of which have garnered him several Emmy nominations.
In 2010, Eglee collaborated with director/filmmaker Frank Darabont on several episodes of the AMC series The Walking Dead. This show was also written by Glen Mazzara.
