"Bottom Bitch" is the third episode of Season 3 and the 29th episode of the series as a whole. It was originally broadcast on March 23, 2004. The previously on segment is voiced by Jay Karnes.
With the arrival of the Decoy Squad on top of him, Vic gets involved with a prostitute seeking protection. Meanwhile, Shane faces his first problems with Mara, only to find out a surprising news. Also, Dutch Wagenbach investigates a rapist that prefers older women, while Claudette starts showing up his force as supervisor of the Strike Team by defying Captain Aceveda.
Synopsis[]

Episode Title[]
The title refers to the main prostitute working for a certain pimp. In the episode, Cocoa is introduced as Smooth's "bottom bitch". As Vic tries to force Farrah into helping him to capture Smooth, he tells her "Smooth's my bitch, which makes you my bottom bitch!". At the end of the episode, Farrah has become the "bottom bitch" for a new pimp called Nasty.

- Vic Mackey mentions the new series of $20 bills to Lem. In reality, in October 2003, the U.S. Treasury released a new series of $20 bills. It has been implied in the show that this season takes place in early 2004.
