Benito James Martinez (born June 28, 1971; age 53) played Captain (and later Councilman) David Aceveda on The Shield and voiced the same character in The Shield: The Game.
Biography and career[]
Martinez was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From an early age, he started performing from an early age, first as a musician for his father's mariachi, and then in theatrical productions. He eventually chose acting as his priority. Martinez studied first at Hollywood High Performing Arts Magnet in Los Angeles, and then at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art's (LAMDA) prestigious three-year program.
Benito Martinez' height is 5' 11" (1.80 m). Martinez would later go on to play the President of the United States on the final season of Shawn Ryan's CBS show The Unit.
